My custom application for the Account Coordinator role
hello hello :))
My name is Fred. This site started with a genuine interest in Zu and grew into a hands-on way to show how I think, learn and go beyond the norm.
It’s a reflection of the way I approach work: with initiative, curiosity, and a focus on thoughtful execution.
About me
Why Zu Excites Me?
A Bit About Me
Our Aligned Values
Something about Zu genuinely pulled me in. The more I learned, the more interested I became. Your work, your people, and your process all left a strong impression on me. As I dug deeper, the more I realized how much I want to be a part of it.
Driven by curiosity, growth, and honest communication, I’m someone who learns fast and puts care into everything I take on. My experiences have shaped me into someone who’s ready to step into the Account Coordinator role with confidence and humility.
With your passion for perfecting your craft, to your focus on harnessing the power of collaboration and your emphasis on client success, I see a culture that I’d be proud to be a part of. These values not only resonate with me, but they would inspire me to fully dedicate myself to growth at Zu.

Learning in progress
This is where my curiosity led the way, and I tackled topics I wasn’t familiar with – digging in to see how they connect with Zu’s work.
RFP's: What they are + my take on a response to Sasktel
Drupal: More Than Just a CMS
Design Thinking: How Empathy
Shapes Real World Solutions
I had no idea what an RFP was at first, so I was extremely interested. I dove in headfirst to figure out what they are, and then attempted to reverse-engineer how Zu might have approached an RFP from Sasktel.
I had played around with WordPress a bit before (including this site ;), but I had never heard of Drupal. When I saw that it played a critical role in powering some of Zu’s projects, I knew that I needed to learn why it is so powerful for creating complex digital experiences, and how Zu uses it.
I thought that Design Thinking was something just for web designers, until I realized that it is all about people. It’s a potent tool for effectively solving real-world problems. It connects the dots between empathy, collaboration, trust, and constant iteration, and it’s a critical part of Zu’s work.
